THE VILLAGE OF PEACE

Continuing along the road, you will find in front of the 16th century church of Sant’Albino vescovo, with the small portico and the bell tower rebuilt in 1936 with the stones of Alzo.
THE PIAZZETTA AND THE PELLINO RIVERA
A few steps from the square, heading towards the cemetery and an uphill path that leads into the dense bush, you can enjoy a unique spectacle: the Pellino river that flows impetuously through the rocks. The bridge that overlooks it has a particular humpback shape and, in the past, was built to allow funeral processions to reach the small cemetery.

THE HISTORY OF THE CHURCH OF SAN FILIBERTO
That of San Filiberto is the oldest complex in Pella, built around the 11th century AD, with 16th century renovations. Around the monumental body itself, there are fourteen chapels of the Via Crucis, dating back to 1794; the bell tower, on the other hand, is the original one, dated between 1075 and 1110. The church, with a single nave, houses interventions after the Middle Ages, including some frescoes. Among them are the portraits of San Giulio and San Filiberto, along with other saints.
